I think it’s worth it to get HK. The 10 speaker Alpine system in my Charger versus the 19 speaker Harmon Kardon in my RAM Limited is night and day. Far superior sound quality in the HK sound system versus the Alpine. The Alpine is like staying at a Holiday Inn while the Harmon Kardon is like staying at the Ritz Carlton. I'm on the fence about the Harman Kardon system in my 2015 SRT. The sound quality sounds pretty good, on par with the system in my 09 SRT. But, it just doesn't crank. With the same MP3 files, the old system was probably 15-20% louder. The new system doesn't seem to have quite the "attack" of the old 3Kj4.
